In this episode of the Walmart and Sam’s Club Radio podcast, Chris and Bo sit down with Steven Harris, better known across social media as “That Walmart Guy.” Steven is from Store 1003 in Plano, Illinois, where he has spent nearly 11 years building connections with associates, customers, and his community.

What started as one simple store video turned into something much bigger. With his signature style, positive attitude and famous “Holy cow” energy, Steven has become a familiar face online and a proud example of what happens when you bring your whole self to work.

Steven Harris walks down a checkout aisle with his back to the camera. He is wearing his blue Walmart vest that identifies him as "That Walmart Guy."

During the interview, Steven shares how he got started at Walmart, why he believes attitude can change everything, and how one piece of advice from a store manager helped him see Walmart as more than just a job. He also talks about dressing like a leader, creating belonging in his store, encouraging other associates to get involved, and the moment he was surprised on stage at the Walmart Home Office.

And yes, he even gives Chris and Bo an on-the-spot Walmart Plus style video example, complete with the hand gestures, the energy, and of course, the “Woohoo!” You can totally close your eyes and imagine it happening as Steven is doing his thing behind the mic for us.
